These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LangOwl mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

2) Service Description

LangOwl is a multilingual vocabulary/quiz-based learning and practice app. You can use it as a guest or with an account. Features may change, be updated, or removed over time.

3) Guest Use & Accounts

  • Guest mode: You may play without creating an account. Guest progress may be tied to your device/installation.
  • Account mode: Creating an account typically requires only an email address. Some features (e.g., cross-device sync) may require an account.

4) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes,
  • Attempt to compromise security (hacking, reverse engineering, cheating, automated abuse, etc.),
  • Overload or disrupt the service or other users’ experience,
  • Provide false or misleading information,
  • Violate store policies (Google Play / App Store) or applicable laws.

5) Ads (AdMob)

The App may display ads. Ads may be served by third-party providers such as Google AdMob. Ad content and third-party practices are the responsibility of the relevant providers.

6) Purchases & Premium (If any)

The App may offer paid features or premium packages. Purchases and refunds are governed by the rules of the relevant store (Google Play / Apple App Store). Pricing and features may change.

7) Intellectual Property

The App, its software, UI, visuals, text, branding, and related content are owned by Mustafa Kemal KAYA or licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part without permission.

8) Disclaimer

LangOwl is for educational/practice purposes. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or specific learning outcomes.

9) Account Deletion

You will be able to delete your account at any time once the feature is available. When enabled, account-linked data will be deleted or anonymized (except where retention is required by law). Guest data can be removed by clearing app data on your device.

10) Suspension / Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, abuse, or security reasons. The App or any feature may be discontinued at any time with or without notice.

11) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (data loss, lost profits, interruptions, etc.) arising from use of the App.

12) Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content or policies.

13) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms become effective once posted in the App. We may provide reasonable notice for material changes.

14) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Courts in Antalya (Central) shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
